Albyn Townhouse Hotel Edinburgh

We loved the character of this hotel, with its high ceilings and sash windows. The room was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed. The coffee machine with daily replaced pods was a great touch. The location was really close to the city center and a lovely pub called Montpelier. There was even a primary school with a sports field right next door. The breakfast offered a great selection, including vegetarian and vegan options. The staff, especially Lydie, were friendly and always went out of their way to help.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, being close to many good restaurants and just outside the old center of the city. We enjoyed being able to explore the local dining scene easily. the room was beautifully decorated and comfortable, providing a welcoming atmosphere after a long day of sightseeing. The bathroom was clean and well maintained, and the service from the owner was friendly and informative.

The breakfast options were a bit disappointing and lacked variety.

The common areas of the house were equally excellent, with tasteful decor throughout. The breakfast menu and buffet were comprehensive, offering high-quality produce and excellent service. The location of the bed and breakfast was also ideal, situated in a quiet street but still conveniently close to restaurants and bus services. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel.
